Each guitar is handcrafted by Evangelos, one at a time, with no mass production, no outsourcing and no external manufacturing.

Evangelos' greatest inspiration is Clarence Leonidas "Leo" Fender, perhaps the most important engineering figure in the history of the electric guitar, the electric bass, and the guitar amplifier.

Although Evangelos' guitar making career started with making guitars after Leo's most iconic designs (the Telecaster and the Stratocaster), Xylon Guitars have never sold and will never sell or profit from copying Leo's design. We believe that ripping off someone's designs and simply calling them "S-Style" and "T-Style" guitars is disrespectful, unethical and hypocritical.

Evangelos' original design, is a tribute to the brilliance of Leo Fender, inspired by his passion for functionality and minimalism, and a critical statement to those that just copy Leo's designs.

Xylon Tea prototype

We call this design the Xylon Tea, as a playful (or perhaps ironic) response to the myriads of people that copy Telecasters.

The Nelli

This is a very special guitar... Nelli is Evangelos' daughter's name, and her "art" is featured on the neck joint plate. The guitar is made out of AAAA Grade Canadian spalted maple (top), mahogany (body), rock hard maple (neck), rosewood (fingerboard). The neck was carved in a soft "v" profile. A Schaller Hannes bridge, Schaller locking tuners, and specially ordered Kinman "Zero Hum" noiseless P90 pickups complement this build. This guitar is not for sale.
